LIONS CLUB OF CHENNAI TAMBARAM CENTRAL CHARITABLE TRUST.

The trust was registered on 18.10.2010 under the Trust Act at SRO. Tambaram as document no. 2408/2010. PMJF Ln. Dr. Ruby Manoharan is the author of the trust with the following lion members as permanent trustees.

  2. MJF Ln. G. Nathan
  3. MJF Ln. A.Srinivasan
  4. MJF Ln. G. Subramanian
  5. MJF Ln. K. Jebakumar.
A BRIEF NOTE ON THE TRUSTEES

PMJF Ln. Dr. Ruby Manoharan

The trust is the brain child of Ln. Dr. Ruby Manoharan who is a leading builder and promoter in South Chennai. Mr. R. Manoharan ia an Indian Air Force veteran with an unblemished record of 15 years of Defence Service mostly in the northen part of India. Mr. Manoharan has also served an eventful 10 years in Airport Authority of India, Chennai.

Driven by passion to explore the world of opportunities as an entrepreneur Mr. Manoharan took voluntary retirement from AAI to venture in to the field of construction. He started RUBY BUILDERS AND PROMOTERS in the year 1997. To day Ruby Builders and Promoters is one of the most trusted and well established property developers in Chennai having completed more than 170 projects.

His commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility has duely recognized with the SEVA RATNA, a prestigious award bestowed by the Parthasarathy International Cultural Academy in the year 2009. In 2015 the International Association of Lions Clubs, District 324A6, awarded LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD for his services through Lions Organisation.

In recognition of his distinguished achievements in the International levelin the fiels of civil accommodation, Inter-American University of Humanitics Studies, USA has conferred him “ Doctor Of Philosophy in Civil Accommodation” in the Year 2009.

Ln. Dr. Ruby Manoharan has established a school in his native village, Kunnathur, Kanyakumari District, Sri Krishna Matriculation higher Secondary School and offering quality education to nearly 1500 students at affordable fees.

Ln. Dr. Ruby Manoharan is an active lion member since 2006 and was Charter President of Lions Club of Chennai Tambaram Central 2008-2009. He held positions at District level as District Chairperson, Zone Chairperson, Region Chairperson etc. He has organized various service activities under lions banner which has culminated in setting up the present trust.As on date he is the sitting MLA of Nanguneri constituency.

Ln. Dr. N. Madhu@ Madhaiyan

Dr. N.Madhu is the  Managing Director of M/s GAUTAM DETECTIVE AND SECURITY SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED. The company is an ISO 9001 – 2008 certified, having its Head office at Tambaram, Chennai-45, and branches at Puducherry, Odisha, Kerala, Bangaluru, Ranipet, Coimbatore, Madurai and Hosur etc., Dr. N. Madhu has been serving the society actively for the past 23 years in the field of Security management and Private Investigations.      

Dr. N. Madhu is a retired Indian Air Force officer who has dedicated his 15 years of colorful service to the nation.

 

Dr. N.Madhu has been into the business of Security Management and Private Investigations for over two decades, holding various pivotal positions in (CAPSI) Central Association for Private Security Industry, ASIS, (WAD) World Association of Detectives Inc. and (ADPI) Association of Private Detectives of India and Joint Secretary of TAPSI (Tamilnadu Association of Private Security Industry).

In recognition of his laudable social service, Inter-American University of Humanistic Studies, Florida, USA awarded him Honorary Doctorate.

He is also a member of Madras Management Association.A member of Confederation of Indian Industry. A member of employers Federation Of South India.

He is an active member of Lions Club International and has been involved in a number of charitable projects to help the needy and downtrodden. He is an active member in Lions Club of  Chennai Tambaram  Central and presently serving as District Chairperson.

With the phenomenal experience he attained during his service in the IAF and as a successful entrepreneur in the business world, he aspired to launch an educational institution with a noble intention of guiding and training young students to enhance their employability skills to excel in the competitive world and become meticulous professionals in the field of Management.

Dr. N.Madhu wishes to render special focus on those students who aspire to pursue MBA in an institute of repute but are held back owing to financial constraints. He strongly believes in the doctrine that money should not be an obstacle for pursuing quality professional education. The aspiration of the patriotic disciplinarian coupled with the zeal and support of professionally experienced faculty community lead to dawn of a unique institution, “MPower Young India Academy”named as MIBS – My India Business School and successfully completed 3rd batch of MBA and stronglybelieves that the young managers of the future are expected to think strategically and operate dynamically.

He is proprietor of Sanjay Homes Chennai and a member of Flat Promoters Association.

He has been publishing a Monthly magazine in Tamil for the past one year to enrich Tamil literature and thus serving the Tamil population across the world.

MJF Ln. G. Nathan

Ln. G. Nathan entered the family business of Electrical Contract in the year 1981 after his graduation as Bachelor of Commerce. He was instrumental in completing various industrial electrical projects in the family business. After gaining sufficient knowledge in the field of business he ventured into Flat and Lay-out promotion as proprietor of GREEN LAND ASSOCIATES from the year 2004. His intelligence, hard work and persieverence has earned him name and fame to the level of Secretary, Flat Promoters Association, South Chennai.

Ln. G. Nathan’s penchant for social service made him to join Lionism in the year 1997. He was president of Lions Club of Madras Metropolitan South, 2006-2007.

He was instrumental in starting Lions club of Chennai Tambaram Central. He has held various positions in Lions Districts 324A6 such as Zone Chairperson, Region Chairperson, DCP Christmas, DCP Women Membership etc. For his outstanding work the Lions Organisation has recognized him with various awards. He has reported that he has spent more than Rs.10.00 Lakhs in Social Service Activities.

Presently he is practicing as an advocate.

MJF Ln. A. Srinivasan

Ln. A. Srinivasan, a post graduate in Agriculture had an illustrious academic  record, joined Tamilnadu Agricultural University  as Lecturer. After serving three years in teaching and research joined in a Nationalised Bank as Agricultural Field Officer. There he woked in various capacities as Faculty Member, Manager, Senior Manager, Deputy Chief Officer etc and finally took voluntary retirement in the year 2009. He entered lionism on the same year and held the portfolios of treasurer, Secretary, President, DCP, Zone Chairperson etc.

He took active interest in establishing the present trust and managing the day to day affairs of the trust as its executive trustee.

At club level presently  he is Director – Projects overseeing various projects of the club, District and International President’s programs. He takes active interest in EYE DONATION AND VISION FOR EVERY ONE PROGRAM.

MJF Ln. G. Subramanian

Ln. G. Subramanian joined lionism in the year 2009 and takes active interest in various activities of lionism. He has held the positions of Treasurer, Secretary and President at club level. He was the Zone Chairperson and Region Chairperson at District level. Presently he is District GMT Coordinator.

He is a member of Flat Promoter’s Association, South Chennai and is the Proprietor of BALAJEE FOUNDATIONSS  undertaking construction of flats.

He takes active interest in all the projects of Lions Trust.

MJF Ln. K. Jeba Kumar

Ln. K. Jeba Kumar has recently retired from Air Port Authority of India as Deputy General Manager after putting in more than 35 years of service. He has held various prestigious assignments in the field Human Resource Management and recognized as an authority in Training and for his negotiating skills in various wage settlements of the organization.

He has entered lionism in the year 2009.
